The Bedrooms at Horspool Retreat
Each bedroom at Horspool Retreat has been individually styled and inspired by iconic Hollywood Legends, combining comfort, character and beautiful countryside views. Designed for both relaxation and flexibility, the retreat can comfortably accommodate from 2 to 36 guests, making it ideal for celebrations, group escapes and special occasions.
MONROE ROOM
Spacious Master Suite with Courtyard Views
Overlooking the tranquil internal courtyard, the Monroe Room is a beautifully styled master bedroom inspired by the glamour of Marilyn Monroe.
One of the largest bedrooms in the retreat, it features one double bed and two single beds, making it ideal for families or small groups. The room offers generous storage with large wardrobes and tall chests of drawers, along with bedside tables, lamps and a TV for added comfort.
The suite benefits from a large open-plan luxury bathroom, featuring a striking freestanding roll-top bathtub beneath a crystal chandelier and a spectacular glass-panelled rain shower, creating a truly indulgent space.
HAYWORTH ROOM
Countryside Views with Classic Hollywood Style
Inspired by the timeless elegance of Rita Hayworth, this charming bedroom enjoys beautiful views across the retreat’s private gated grounds and surrounding countryside, with glimpses towards the River Trent.
The room includes one double bed and two single beds, along with wardrobes, drawers, a chair, bedside tables and a TV.
Please note this bedroom shares a bathroom with the Monroe Room.
TAYLOR & DUNAWAY ROOMS
Twin Countryside Suites
The Taylor and Dunaway Rooms are elegant mirror-image bedrooms offering peaceful views across the surrounding countryside and towards the River Trent.
Each room includes stylish furnishings, with wardrobes, tall chests of drawers, bedside tables, lamps and TVs for guest comfort.
Both bedrooms feature private en-suite bathrooms, beautifully tiled and fitted with luxury fixtures including a full-length bath with overhead shower and sleek glass shower screen, perfect for a relaxing soak after a day exploring the area.
HEPBURN ROOM
Signature Master Suite with Garden Access
The Hepburn Room is the most luxurious and spacious bedroom at Horspool Retreat.
Large patio doors open directly onto a south-facing patio and landscaped garden, filling the room with natural light and offering beautiful countryside views.
Inspired by the elegance of Audrey Hepburn, the room is adorned with modern artwork and features a luxury king bed along with four single beds, offering flexible sleeping arrangements for larger groups.
The impressive spa-style en-suite bathroom includes a whirlpool spa bath and a rainforest shower, creating a relaxing retreat within the retreat.
BERGMAN & PORTMAN ROOMS
Cozy Adjoining Guest Rooms
These two smaller bedrooms are ideal for guests who prefer their own private room or for children staying close to their parents.
One room features a comfortable set of bunk beds and the other 2 luxury Z-beds, offering a matress with depth and comfort as a standard bed.
While compact, these rooms remain cozy and comfortable, allowing guests to enjoy all the wonderful facilities the retreat has to offer.
Please note these rooms share bathrooms with Bedrooms 5 and 8.
LOREN ROOM
Spacious Garden & Courtyard Suite
The Loren Room is one of the largest bedrooms in the retreat and offers a bright, open-plan layout.
The room features one double bed, two single beds and a double sofa bed, making it perfect for families or larger groups. Guests will also find a wardrobe, drawers, bedside tables, coffee table and TV.
Floor-to-ceiling windows open fully to create a seamless indoor–outdoor living feel, with views across both the landscaped gardens and the internal courtyard.
A recently installed luxury bathroom features sleek modern styling, a glass shower enclosure with elegant sanitaryware.
KELLY ROOM
Poolside Bedroom with Courtyard Access
Inspired by the elegance of Grace Kelly, this unique bedroom enjoys direct access to the indoor swimming poolthrough a secure lockable door and also connects to Bedroom 8.
The room features one double bed and two single beds, along with bedside tables, drawers and a wardrobe. Guests are provided with luxury Egyptian cotton bedding and a choice of pillows for added comfort.
Large windows and bi-folding doors open directly onto the internal courtyard, filling the room with natural light.
The spacious bathroom includes luxury sanitaryware, a modern shower cubicle and elegant basin, with views across the surrounding countryside towards the boating lake.
